Layers is built by the team behind CareHQ making it the natural CRM to integrate with first. This also allows to ensure the quality and consistency of data collected.
In the future, we may explore integrations with other CRMs where this can be achieved without compromising data quality or benchmarking accuracy.
Layers is a collaborative benchmarking platform. By contributing their own data, care providers gain access to market insights and a clear view of how they compare to the wider sector.
Restricting access to participating care providers ensures the platform remains fair to contributors. Unlike other market reporting platforms, organisations are only granted access to Layers if they contribute data through the platform.
No. Layers automatically collects and transforms the required data from CareHQ each day, so there is no need to manually prepare or submit any data.
It depends. By default, Layers imports data from 1 January 2025 onwards. To ensure benchmarking accuracy and data consistency, we only import data collected through the CareHQ platform.
This means that any historical data already held within CareHQ will be automatically imported, while data collected using previous CRM platforms will not.
We take data quality seriously because accurate benchmarking depends on it.
For occupancy, movement, and fee-related data, accuracy is inherently high as this information is used directly for billing within CareHQ.
For care enquiry data, we manually review CareHQ accounts both before they are added to Layers and on an ongoing basis to ensure they meet our data quality standards. Where we believe the quality of a provider’s data does not meet the required standard, we will work with them to address this and, where necessary, may remove them from the platform to protect the integrity of the benchmarking data.
